The installation of the Mexican artist Gilberto Esparza won the Golden Nica 2015 at the Prix Ars Electronica. The symbiotic coexistence of organic and electronic elements in this installation enables the creation of electrical energy, which supports life in the green biotope. It is a self-sufficient system of plants and microorganisms, capable of enduring human pollution and the destruction of the environment. With its post-apocalyptic appearance, the installation invokes possible dystopian scenarios in which humans no longer inhabit the Earth. Click here for more information. The exhibition is a part of the Lighting Guerrilla Festival 2016. Opening in Vžigalica Gallery: 16 May at 9.30pm - 18 June 2016.
