On 20 April we mark International Noise Awareness Day 2016 under the slogan ‘Preserving a peaceful space in the urban environment’. Sonja Jeram, Helena Pavlič and Bojana Bažec from the National Institute for Public Health will present the importance of a peaceful environment for people’s health and wellbeing as well as highlighting the importance of the sound environment for kindergartens and primary schools. They will also present the picture book "It’s great that I have ears! It’s great that I can hear!", while children will be able to produce the play ‘Sound memory’. Passers-by will be invited to stroll around the city listening to the sounds and communicating their experience of them. From 10am to 4pm at Point. For you. (the Ljubljana Green Capital 2016 info point).
