Do it yourself.
The end of the year is just around the corner and soon we will be counting down the weeks and days until Christmas. I make an Advent decoration every year, and every year they become less and less like the first one. Or rather, less like the classic image of the Advent wreath.
I wanted something more modern than a classic wreath."
It’s not very hard to make Advent decorations, but I have simplified it even further, as I wanted something more modern than a classic wreath. This year’s will be very similar to last year’s, as beside the fact that it’s very easy to make, it’s also elegant, modern and inexpensive.
You will need:
Sprinkle the coloured gravel into your glass vase and arrange it nicely.
Push the candles into it and check that they are secure and stand upright, and then add Christmas ornaments that match the colour of the gravel and candles, and that’s it. Very simple, isn’t it?
This unusual Advent decoration can be the centrepiece on your dining table all month long as an interesting decoration, and after the New Year, you can exchange the Christmas ornaments for something else. You can do the same next year, simply changing the colours of the gravel and candles, and it will look like you have a completely different Advent decoration.
